The Butterfly Table
A collaboration with bespoke textile designer Antonia Claudie, this walnut table draws inspiration from the deconstructed wings of a butterfly. The silk inserts, hand-dyed by Antonia using natural walnut husks, are seamlessly integrated into the wooden frame, creating a delicate contrast between the materials.
Imperfections.
We embraced the natural variations in the walnut—features often overlooked, such as sapwood and knots—treating them not as imperfections, but as essential elements of the design. In this abstract composition, these organic details contribute to a sense of balance, forming a quiet harmony within the material’s inherent diversity.
